The One That Sparkled

At times when mind is in a twirl ,

when heart is burdened

with insane thoughts.

Awaiting for some comfort

But alas !! I could find none.

Suddenly I found something

that glistened beneath my eyes

No, it was not a tear

it could never be a tear

For my eyes was as clear as a crystal.

A moment I gazed up......up into the blues ,

To find the azure skies

but to my dismay it was not so

The clouds which seemed like adornments

for the sky was parting

Yes.........it struck me at that second

How........Oh how can I be

so ignorant about it.

The drop that had fallen from above.

More drops had started to trickle down

washing away my rusted thoughts

making my soul as lively as it had never been

I was comforted.........so greatly

Each drop seemed to me as pearls

which was falling down from the heavens

Why didn't I ever realize that a drop ,

as tiny as it could be

was so powerful so that it can make our hearts glow !!!

As such thoughts wandered in my mind

I took a walk around

to find the drops settling on

bluebells,daisies and tulips.

Even they looked so lovely......

the drops appeared as necklaces

which bordered them.

No words could ever describe

the magnificence the drops had offered 

 to every little beauties of nature.

For a moment I send up 

a praise to Almighty

for the grace he gave us

In the form of a tiny " DROP "..................!
